You can use these Colourful Wooden Cubes to challenge your creative side by creating new toys, repairing or revamping existing toys which will stimulate your Parrots interests. Threaded onto leather strips for Chewing fun, as part of a foot toy for the medium & large Parrots.

Quantity - This pack contains 15 cubes of assorted colours.

Dimensions - 2.5cm with a 8mm hole.

Materials - Bird safe coloured wood. Colours will run when wet.

Suitable for - Mini to Large Parrots.

Chewability - In our opinion, being softwood, these are great for all beaks  even the extra small, but they may not last long with the small beaks never mind the large ones. Great for adding a splash of colour but may need to be replaced often even for the small parrots. Try combining them with other woods and toy parts for a longer lasting toy that still offers a fabulous chewing experience.

These cubes are safe for Extra Small to Large Parrots but what about their chew value.  "Our Ernie" a Blue Fronted Amazon, is classed as large and he loves them but goes through them quicker than his bagels and that's saying something. They are the perfect size for "Our Tiels" as part of their hanging toys, activity perches, swings and even as cage bar nibbles.  Just for comparison, our friends, Red Pennant "Red" who we would class as a medium, still had 3/4 of a cube left on his activity perch after a month, where as on "Our Storm's"  perch it lasted no more than a couple of days. "Our Felix" has them combined with other woods and beads on a leather toy and they tend to last him a couple of weeks.

Every bird is different but by knowing your birds individual play habits and beak strength, it will help you create toys that are multi-faceted. Try using a combination of durable and shreddable parts for maximum enjoyment.
